Abstract
The introduction to the book places the contributions in the broader context of the EIPIN Innovation Society project. The overall goal of the book is to shed light on the complexities that the intellectual property law system plays in innovation processes, with a particular focus on the actors that collaborate in this ecosystem, and the checks and balances that are in place to foster creativity and preserve justice. We identify how each contribution relates to this overall theme and to each other.
