Research interests

Anke’s main area of interest relates to the interface of intellectual property law and political science. In this regard, her research focusses on governance aspects of intellectual property regulation, in particular the protection of geographical indications, the negotiation settings of IP chapters free trade agreements from an international relations point of view and the external relations of the EU in relation to intellectual property protection and enforcement in third countries.
