Abstract
Development and promotion of institutionally anchored knowledge transfer processes within the Public Health Services (PHS) necessitates practical and methodological competencies. The EvidenzÖGD initiative has responded to this imperative by developing a trainee rotation model, inteded to equip participants with the requisite qualifications for engagement at this interface. Currently, a cohort of three trainees is engaged in concurrent rotations within participating institutions from academia and practice in order to assess the viability of predetermined learning objectives. Finally, approaches and strategies are developed to further maintain and sustain these interface activities and to anchor knowledge transfer processes in the long term.
