Abstract

Regional anesthesia, usually as an addition to general anesthesia for patients undergoing thoracic outlet decompression (TOD), has several advantages. For the transaxillary TOD approach we use a Pecs II block, for the supraclavicular TOD approach the superficial cervical plexus block. In this chapter, we describe the relevant anatomy, indications, ultrasound-guided injection and our clinical application.
