Abstract

This research aimed to address several different aspects of the daily clinical practice in the management and decision-making process involving antiplatelet therapy and patients with coronary artery disease, treated with percutaneous coronary intervention. The core of the investigation focused on the identification of factors and determinants contributing to an increase in the atherothrombotic risk profile of patients, and, thus, the potential target of intervention to attenuate or eliminate it.
