Abstract
Shiitake dermatitis is becoming more common worldwide. Affected individuals develop an characteristic eythematous, flagellate pattern after consumption of raw or undercooked shiitake mushrooms. The exact pathogenesis is still unclear. Shiitake dermatitis is a benign and self-limiting skin condition with a typical clinical presentation and heals without residue.
