Abstract

New categories of workers - or workers in new work situations - claim a better insight into their (social/labour) position. The traditional standard of performing work within a stable framework is not adapted to the present fluid society in which persons also perform simultaneously work activities in different statutes (employee, self-employed, platform worker) and work in different EU countries. The need for more flexibility and fluidity of the rules requires a more dynamic view of the existing rules as well as the creation of new rules.
