Author Correction: Myocarditis after COVID-19 mRNA vaccination: clinical observations and potential mechanisms

Correction to: Nature Reviews Cardiology. Published online 9 December 2021. In the version of this article initially published, some competing interests were not declared. In addition, text in the first “Clinical observations” paragraph has been updated to clarify that to date, at least 13, not 8, deaths are reportedly due to COVID-19 mRNA-vaccine-associated myocarditis, though estimates are difficult owing to lack of evidence for a causal relationship between the vaccine and myocarditis, and that up to, not greater than, 90% of patients with myocarditis will functionally recover. The corrections have been made in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
