My personal scientific interest are centered around the impact of the lifestyle on human health and wellbeing, especially in the contex of gut health, microbiome and nutrition.

My PhD research is dedicated to looking for a non-invasive Inflammatory Bowel Disease diagnosis, utilizing real-world patient volatolomics and metagenomics data. We aim to identify a set of biomarkers for better disease diagnosis and monitoring, with creation of Digial Twin as a result.
