Research interests

I work on legal and regulatory solutions for smart and sustainable transport and logistics. I obtained my Doctor of Law degree with the thesis about legal aspects of cooperative logistics ('Sharing economy in logistics. Towards a legal framework for co-operation') at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands and University of Antwerp, Belgium (double degree).

Furthermore, I conducted my research projects at several European Universities thanks to the obtained research grants. At the University of Brno, Czech Republic I worked on the project: 'Blockchain for More Sustainable Carriage of Goods – Legal aspects of involving blockchain for environmentally-friendly transport' (thanks to the Visegrad grant). At the University of Rouen Normandie, France I worked on the project: 'Carbon Free Last Mile Delivery – legal and technological perspectives' (thanks to Marie Skłodowska-Curie co-fund grant). I was also a visiting scholar at the University of Leeds where I worked on the competition law aspects of co-operation contracts in logistics (thanks to Erasmus + grant).

I am interested in legal aspects of data sharing in transport and logistics, sustainable transport and logistics in smart cities, and sustainable supply and delivery chains.
