Description
Samantha Renssen, Associate Professor of Corporate and Insolvency Law and Research Fellow of the ICGI, is the 2016 winner of the Ian Strang Founders Award (INSOL International). Since 2014, The Ian Strang Founders Award is awarded to the best paper put forward by a postgraduate covering the field of insolvency and turnaround. The paper Samantha has written is titled "Corporate Restructuring and Corporate Dissolution of Companies in Financial Distress: Ensuring Creditor Protection. A Comparison of the US, the UK and the Dutch Models". As part of the award Samantha is invited to attend the INSOL 2017 Congress, which will take place in Sydney. During this congress, she will be recognised and receive a framed certificate of the Ian Strang Founders Award.
