Abstract

Team leaders of crisis teams need to work in extremely complex circumstances. This
exploratory interview study investigated the crisis leader's stress process by analyzing their stress appraisal, stress reactions, and coping. The qualitative findings argue that crisis leaders face a prolonged and intensified stress process.
