Abstract

Technology can be used in various ways to support students in achieving the learning objectives of studying EU politics. This chapter explores two types of activities that provide a space for both interaction and reflection, for engaging with the content of the course and with real-life events but also for personal learning. First, engaging with practitioners using different technology-enhanced channels is an effective way of providing students with an authentic learning experience that spans both academic and practical areas of expertise and enables them to train useful skills alongside acquiring content knowledge. Second, ePortfolios put students at the centre of their learning, offering them a platform for independent research, reflection and self-expression.
