Abstract

Each surgical procedure becomes safer with increasing experience, and each surgeon will find his or her own style of successfully performing a sagittal split osteotomy of the mandible. At the same time, you develop your style, which may be alien to others. What is routine to one is new to another. The reference to surgical tricks and recommendations should help to close this gap.
