Abstract

Based on an in-depth case study analysis, the chapter discusses whether and to what extent companies that limit their growth and resource use through sufficiency can avoid rebound effects at the firm level. It also identifies entry points for companies and policy makers on how efficiency measures can contribute to absolute resource reductions rather than accelerating growth.
