Abstract

Care around colorectal surgery can be improved. This dissertation focuses on modifiable (modifiable) risk factors for complications and recovery after colorectal surgery. The results of this dissertation contribute to the further development of perioperative treatment strategies to better prepare patients for surgery and improve postoperative outcomes.
