Abstract
This contribution, written at the occasion of the retirement of Prof. Fons Coomans as Professor at the Maastricht Faculty of Law, traces the visible signs referring to justice and government in the two buildings of the Faculty of Law at the Bouillonstraat and Kapoenstraat in the city of Maastricht.
