Abstract
In this chapter, I explore how the rise of digital media ecologies has impacted the mobilization of trust in social movements. Focusing on the dual dynamics of trust and mistrust, my discussion considers both the positive and negative characteristics of digitization for social movements as well as antagonistic counter-movements.
