Abstract
Highlights: [•] We present results from interviews with investment decision makers on their willingness to consider investing in Carbon Capture and Storage projects. [•] We identify several key impediments to the mobilization of private funds for investing in Carbon Capture and Storage. [•] We argue that policy makers and project managers should take an empirical approach to mobilizing private funds for Carbon capture and storage. That is, talk to investors in addition to relying on advanced investment theory.
