Abstract

In this issue of Blood, Mohammed et al report a complete atomic-resolution structure of factor V (FV) short, an enigmatic splicing variant of coagulation FV associated with bleeding.1 This structure, which includes the whole FV short B domain, provides valuable clues to understanding the unique functional properties of FV short.
