Abstract
Laser therapy, both ablative and non-ablative, plays an important role in skin rejuvenation, initiating extracellular matrix breakdown and promoting the formation of a structured matrix with sustained collagen stimulation. Ablative lasers, in particular, are the most effective for skin rejuvenation, thanks to their substantial ability to stimulate dermal collagen and elastin. On the other hand, nonablative and fractional laser systems offer shorter recovery time and a reduced risk of complications, including scarring, uneven skin tone, and infections.
