Abstract

This introduction starts with a brief outline of the research field of forensic/legal psychology, followed by a description of the international doctoral program that stands behind this volume-the House of Legal Psychology. The program, which started in September 2013 and finished in September 2020, has provided graduate students from around the world a unique opportunity to start a career in forensic/legal psychology with ideal conditions for conducting and learning about research while working with experts in the field. Next, the broader themes covered in the volume and the individual fifteen state-of-the-art chapters-all written by former students of the House of Legal Psychology-are presented.
