Abstract

The book covers the protection of trade secrets and the law on post-contractual
non-compete clauses (restrictive covenants) in an employment context. The topic is
approached on an international and comparative level (chapters 1–3 and 10), and by way of country reports covering several European and Asian jurisdictions. The country reports follow a uniform structure that starts with the protection of trade secrets in an employment context, then moves to restrictive covenants, post-contractual competition issues and finally problems of procedure and enforcement.
