Abstract
According to the "Fourth universal definition of myocardial infarction," Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) is a "myocardial injury detected by abnormal cardiac biomarkers with clinical evidence of acute myocardial ischemia" [1]. The criteria include abnormal cardiac troponin (cTn) values with at least one value above the 99th percentile upper reference limit (URL), and at least one of the following:
