Abstract
The surgical standard interventions are differentiated between procedures affecting the maxilla, the midface below the orbits, but also the midface including the orbital space. A distinction is also made between partial osteotomies, so-called segmental osteotomies, in the anterior or posterior upper jaw. The zygoma can also be osteotomized and repositioned. Combinations of these procedures are possible. All types of osteotomies in the maxilla and midface can be combined with procedures in the mandible.
