Abstract
De Consumer empowermentrichtlijn wijzigt de Richtlijn oneerlijke handelspraktijken teneinde de consument beter te beschermen tegen duurzaamheidsgerelateerde misleidende handelspraktijken. Op een aantal punten is de richtlijn echter onduidelijk en riskeert zij ongewenste neveneffecten teweeg te brengen. Deze bijdrage neemt een aantal van deze punten onder de loep.
