Abstract

In the article entitled “The humeral suspension technique: a novel operation for deltoid paralysis,” the sentence “The study protocol was approved by the Institutional Review Board of METC Zuyderland Medical Center (File nr. 2021021) and written informed consent was obtained from all patients.” was presented incorrectly. The correct statement should be: As this study constitutes a case history, approval from the Medical Ethics Review Committee (METC) was not required. Both patients, however, agreed to the publication.
