Abstract

The essay presents the learning objectives, the methodology and the main content of the e-learning course ‘Diritto’ within the Foundation Programme of the University of Turin. Particularly, the course aims to give an overview of the Italian understanding of Public Law in the context of the Western Legal Tradition, and, specifically, of Constitutional Law, Public Economic Law and International Economic Law. By examining different legal areas, the course gathers together common roots, objectives and attitudes toward the legal world, and explains how they all shaped the societies we live in and still characterize the Western conception of Law and Justice.
