Abstract
Testicular torsion is a relatively common urological emergency. When unrecognised or delayed in treatment, it leads to testicular loss. In this case report we discuss a patient with a torsion of his solitary testis where despite symptomology for several days, the decision was made to perform a surgical exploration with detorsion and fixation, ultimately preserving the testis. Follow up showed motile sperm cells and adequate levels of testosterone.
