Abstract

This work is based on an experimental setup for the collection of two-microphone passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) data and weather data in an urban recording location. The purpose of data collection is to investigate the connections and cause-and-effect links between environmental factors, human behavior, and animal vocalizations. This article presents an analysis and certain findings derived from the data set on the behaviors of different species of birds in the area. The data set, consisting of audio files, weather measurements and meta-data, will be made available for research purposes.
