Abstract

We thank Yang and colleagues for their letter in response to our paper examining the impact of alcohol consumption on incident atrial fibrillation (AF) risk. Our study [1] is not intended to provide recommendations concerning appropriate levels of alcohol intake in healthy middle-aged women, but rather to explore the risk of AF associated with various levels of alcohol consumption.
