Abstract

Healthcare is becoming more expensive, more complex and more personalised. Efficient and faster research is necessary to in order to continue to develop scalable innovations. The studies in this dissertation focus on the meaningful reuse of clinical data in radiation oncology. Information must be stored more intelligently so that big data technology can be used to solve concrete problems in practice. Not only is this possible, the results prove that this method is a valuable addition to traditional research through clinical trials.
