Personal profile
Biography
As a PhD Candidate in Educational Research and Development at Maastricht University, I research learning leadership – exploring how leaders shape and influence the learning climate within organizations. My role combines research with teaching at the School of Business and Economics, where I aim to bridge academic insights with practical relevance for workplaces.
Previously, I worked as an HR Trainee at the European Central Bank, contributing to both the Business Partner and Employee Partner teams. There, I supported employee development and wellbeing, collaborated with international colleagues, and strengthened my passion for understanding leadership and workplace learning.
I hold a BSc in Applied Psychology (specializing in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and Internationalization) and an MSc in Occupational Psychology. My international upbringing has further equipped me with strong intercultural communication skills and a global perspective on workplace dynamics.
Beyond my academic path, I have hands-on experience in research, coaching, and training. At Philips, I enhanced workplace learning environments and led HR communication initiatives. As a trainer and supervisor in education, I guided students in building problem-solving and leadership skills. Additionally, as the Founder of Zondag Consultancy, I advised tutoring companies on implementing and developing training programs.
I am dedicated to fostering environments where individuals and organizations can thrive. With my blend of HR practice, psychological expertise, and research focus, I aim to contribute to both scientific knowledge and real-world organizational development.
