Personal profile

Research interests

PhD Candidate in Legal Psychology at Maastricht University (NL) and the University of Gothenburg (SE) with the Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate Programme from the House of Legal Psychology.

My PhD research provides an initial examination of witness cooperation and lack thereof in police interviews with crime witnesses. I examined current witness interviewing practices to gain cooperation and police experience in interviewing uncooperative witnesses using archival and survey police data. In addition, based on experimental research, I examined the effects of cooperation on information disclosure and interviewing behaviour.

Supervisory team: Prof. Peter van Koppen & Dr. Robert Horselenberg (UM) and Prof. Leif Strömwall & Dr. Sara Landström (GU).
