Together with researchers from the Universiteit van Amsterdam and Tilburg University, united in the collective Het Leugenlab, FPN's Ewout Meijer studied a new approach to lie detection. By paying attention to how someone tells details, you can find out more quickly whether someone tells the truth.

 

In the future, this newly developed rule of thumb could save a lot of time and money in training for people conducting lie detection tests. Meijer was interviewed by a journalist from the Nederlands Dagblad
