Description
Today, most research starts from the question ‘why should adoptees/donor-conceived persons have the right to know?’ and then expects adoptees/dcc to give arguments for why they should or should not get access to identifying information. One should rather ask why others have granted themselves the right to conceal that information. Why are parents, doctors and politicians acting as if they have that right and why has society often confirmed such a belief?
