Panel Member with Anna van Zoest, De Groene Live event at the Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam, entitled: Balanceert Amerika tussen hoop en woede

Description

Is America teetering between hope and anger?
The weekly magazine De Groene Amsterdammer will discuss the American presidential elections in Pakhuis de Zwijger.

All eyes are on the race for the White House. With the presidential elections on November 5, America faces a fundamental choice that will determine its own future and the security of the world. Will Trumpism return in an even more extreme form, and will society drift further? Or will a new generation of Democrats take office with Kamala Harris, who will gain more control over a country that is marked by polarization, social inequality and democratic decline? Groene editors Rutger van der Hoeven and Casper Thomas will discuss this exciting battle for power in Washington with Manon Portos Minetti, Roberta Haar, Anna van Zoest, Liam Klein and Arthur Eaton.
