Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a comprehensive methodology for assessing and comparing the environmental impacts of products, processes and services. While LCA is standardized, its results can be easily misused to support environmental claims. This lecture will highlight how LCA can be used as a supporting tool for decision making toward sustainability or greenwashing.
