Description

This time, the FiCE workshop will focus on electrocardiographic imaging (ECG-Imaging) and image integration. ECG-imaging reconstructs electrical activation and recovery directly at the heart surface. This can yield important patient-specific insights about arrhythmia mechanisms and guide therapy, potentially improving clinical outcome. Special attention will be given to the integration of ECG-Imaging with other imaging modalities and with multi-scale phenotypic and genotypic information. Such integration of modalities will likely be necessary to improve diagnosis and provide precision medicine for patients with complex heart rhythm disorders. This workshop will bring together international experts and stimulate a productive discussion to obtain a consensus about a number of open questions related to the methodology, validation and clinical application of ECG-Imaging.
