PLF (Product Liabilty Forum) seminar on Punitive Damages in Europe held in London on Thursday 20 March 2014 (16.00 - 19.00).

Dr Solène Rowan, LSE, will chair this event.
Speakers include :
• Prof. Ina Ebert (Munich Re),
• Tim Cowen (Sidley Austin),
• Dr Francesco Quarta (University of Bologna)
• Prof Erdem Büyüksagis (Fribourg University, Switzerland).

The seminar will look at recent developments concerning punitive damages in Europe, and will in particular examine the "hidden" use of punitive damages in civil law jurisdictions, as well as reform proposals concerning the English law of exemplary damages.

The seminar takes place at the usual location at Charles Clore House, Russell Square.
