Competition, regulation and innovation in the UK audit market: some reflections

Description

The Centre for Competition Policy (CCP), at the University of East Anglia (UEA), has been commissioned by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), to further understanding of how innovation and competition interact in the United Kingdom (UK) market for audit services. As part of this project, CCP is gathering expert opinion through a structured workshop with leading innovation and competition academics and practitioners on the 10th of February 2023.
I was a panel member and speaker in Theme 3 of this workshop: Future Research and Implications for ARGA.
