COOPRADIV meeting on the topic of AI's impact on inclusive and diverse assessments. See the session description below.AI offers new possibilities for teaching and learning, but also comes with several risks and unanticipated effects. In this session, we plan to reflect on the ways in which AI has changed the assessment landscape, and the possible implications of these changes in the context of diversity and inclusivity. For example, how does an increased reliance on oral assessments and MECC exams affect students with different learning abilities and language skills? In what ways could existing inequalities be exacerbated? Alternatively, could AI be used to lessen the current divides? We will delve into these questions and related topics through an open conversation with invited guests and COOPRADIV members. The aim is to think through questions of accessibility, ethics and responsible AI use together.
The meeting will be facilitated by Brigitte le Normand. We will also be joined by Andrada Matauanu and Dani Shanley, who will share their insights on the topic.
